While Labor Day is not the most-traveled holiday, it still can account for around 35 million people taking advantage of the 3-day weekend. Of those 35 million travelers, a large majority will most likely be driving to their vacation destinations. Reports show that boating accidents usually triple during summer holiday weekends. If you are planning a boating trip, just be extra attentive and avoid crowded areas.
