The holidays are upon us! We’re decking the halls and working on our Christmas spirit. This got us thinking ... what kind of insurance policies would Santa Claus need, or even qualify for?
Let’s start off with Santa’s home in the North Pole. Obviously , Santa will need homeowner’s insurance to cover any risk that could come to his property. But, as far as his toy shop is concerned, he’d need a separate policy to cover his business.
With all those elves, it’s a big liability. Not to mention workers' comp and the type of product they are producing ... toys for children! We’re sure Santa will want to be covered in case of fire, flooding or theft. Delivering toys to all the world’s children is no easy feat, so Santa needs to make sure he ’s covered .
We’d also encourage Santa to get a veterinary policy to ensure his eight reindeer are covered . If anything were to happen to them, Christmas could be canceled !
Now, insuring Santa’s sleigh is another challenge. Santa would need an aviation policy since he only takes it out but once a year on Christmas Eve. And he would need some serious coverage here for all that toy cargo, and his delivery radius is all over the world!
A life insurance policy wouldn’t be a bad idea for ole’ Kris Kringle either. After all, he’s entering homes through chimneys and traveling through all sorts of icy climates. That’s hoping once he enters the homes, any house pets do not go on high alert!
One thing is for sure, being Santa’s insurance agent would be a challenge! Though you might not need as much coverage as old Saint Nick, no matter what insurance policy you’re looking for, we’re here to help! Want to learn more about car insurance in Orlando?
